Details

After completing this course, students will be able to teach children with mental retardation as well as all other children and thus being teachers for all children (primary to higher secondary level). The curriculum covers core special education subjects and subjects specific to the type of disability

DURATION

The duration of the course will be two years (Semester Examination).

Eligibility

Students who have passed Graduation with minimum 50% of marks in any stream are eligible for the program. Reservation & 5 % relaxation in admission is allowed for ST/SC/OBC/PWD

After completing these courses the student teachers will:

  1. Acquire knowledge & skills about human development, contemporary Indian education, and pedagogy of various school subjects and assessment for learning.
  2. Acquire knowledge & skills about nature and educational needs of children with different needs.
  3. Develop conceptual understanding of education provisions and skills.
